Exploring ideas around our inquiry.

Today we started exploring the word inquiry. We started with making a list of words that make up inquiry e.g. the things required to achieve an extended abstract in the word inquiry. After creating a list we separated into groups to come up with questions associated with our big project (for our group marketing and event managing.) After doing some proper research about inquiry, social sustainability, economic sustainability, environmental and cultural sustainability. I feel like I contributed quite well but I have to say Josh was the most contributive in our group. The brainstorm was harder than I thought it would be but it was a good learning experience. Overall I thought it was a successful session and I can't wait for next week.
(Although I am in the marketing side of this project I have some amazing ideas for costumes and I would love to help.)

Question storm/Promoting.

Question:
  1. What does effective marketing look like?
  2. Who is the target audience?
  3. Where will we be getting materials?
  4. Where are we hosting the event?
  5. How to sustainably promote our event?
  6. When are we going to promote?
  7. How do large companies promote?
  8. Why do we promote things?
  9. Where we are going to promote?
  10. What interests people to acknowledge the promotion?
  11. Who could we ask for help?
  12. Any local businesses that can help?
  13. What media can be used to help?
  14. How can we get the community involved in our promotion?
  15. What unusual materials can be used?
